PEJC believes that building the capacities of citizens, legal professionals, authorities and community-based law enforcers – such as the Bantay Dagat and Bantay Gubat – is key to enabling strict enforcement of environmental laws and regulations. Together with our partners, we educate the public on their rights and the legal remedies available to promote environmental rule of law. This empowers communities to take action to protect their environment.
