Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program

Last November 24 was the 9th session of the Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program covering the topic- How to Design an Environmental Law Clinic, Opportunities and Challenges. In the session, PEJC’s managing trustee, Atty. John Menguito had the privilege to speak all about PEJC’s project- the Green Legal Clinics, its purpose, and its progress so far.

Green Legal Clinics – PEJC, in partnership with law schools in Visayas and Mindanao, has established five environmental law clinics with the goal to develop specialist expertise in energy, environmental and climate law in the Philippines, and train the next generation of lawyers. Supported by international legal charity ClientEarth, we are working to strengthen environmental rule of law, so that citizens, civil society, and the legal community have the tools they need to secure a safe climate for Filipino communities.
